Why 6:00 AM

The woman who trains at 6am
is not doing it because
she has extra time.

She is doing it before the day can take it from her.

You know exactly how this goes. By 8am the inbox is open. By 9am someone needs something. By noon you have been managing everything and everyone except yourself. By the time the day ends you have nothing left for the one hour you kept meaning to take.

This class exists because of that math. 6:00 AM is not a sacrifice. It is a boundary. The only hour of the day that belongs to you before you can talk yourself out of claiming it.

If she doesn't claim one hour before the day starts, the day will take everything.

45 minutes. You are out by 6:45 AM. The day hasn't started yet. And you already did the thing.

The class, minute by minute

What 45 minutes looks like.

Every minute is accounted for. You arrive at 5:55. You leave at 6:45. The day is still yours.

5:55 AM

Arrive

Studio is open and lit. Five minutes before we start so you're not rushing in cold. Take off your shoes. Breathe. The morning is already yours.

6:00 – 6:10 AM

Ground in

Warm-up and body arrival. Not aggressive. Intentional. Crystal brings the room down from whatever pace everyone walked in at before the work begins.

6:10 – 6:40 AM

The work

30 minutes on the apparatus. Crystal teaches to the room — where you are, not where she wishes you were. You will do something you didn't know you could do. This is the point.

6:40 – 6:45 AM

Land

Five minutes of cooldown and integration. You close the session, not Crystal. You walk out at 6:45 feeling different than when you walked in.

Apparatus rotation

Launching with Aerial Hoop.
Expanding from there.

Full rotation confirmed · Starting August 4. Week 1 Aerial Hoop · Week 2 Pole Dance · Week 3 Aerial Hammock · Week 4 Floorwork or Chair Dance. Every month, every Tuesday.

Week 1 · Every Month Aerial Hoop Mount, seated positions, and basic transitions. The hoop holds you more than you expect — and the aerial perspective at 6am, before the day has started, is something women come back for. Week 1 is always Hoop so new students can enter at the beginning of any month.
Week 2 · Every Month Pole Dance Grip, spin, and floor transitions. Pole at 6am has a stillness to it that evening classes rarely do. The room is quiet. The work is focused. Students consistently describe it as the most grounding 45 minutes of their week.
Week 3 · Every Month Aerial Hammock Entry positions, seated work, and supported suspension. The hammock at dawn — when the studio is still dim and quiet — is unlike anything else in the schedule. The fabric catches you. Most women don't want the session to end.
Week 4 · Every Month Floorwork or Chair Dance Liquid Motion floorwork or Chair Dance — announced at the start of each month. The fourth Tuesday is the most expressive session of the rotation. After three weeks of apparatus, the floor and the chair feel like a release.
The full rotation runs every month: Aerial Hoop (Week 1) · Pole Dance (Week 2) · Aerial Hammock (Week 3) · Floorwork or Chair Dance (Week 4). Any Tuesday is a valid entry point — you do not need to have attended the previous week to follow along.

Why Crystal teaches this class herself

The first experience matters.

I built the 6am class because I know what it is like to be the most capable person in the room and still feel like you are running on a fraction of yourself.

I have spent 20 years in healthcare IT — showing up early, staying late, solving problems in rooms that were not built for women like me. I know what the 6am woman's morning looks like before she gets to me.

She wakes up before her family. She checks her phone before her feet hit the floor. She is already managing before the day begins.

This class asks her to put the phone down for 45 minutes. To be a student, not a manager. To find out what her body can do when someone actually takes the time to teach her.

I teach this class personally because the first time in an aerial apparatus matters. If that experience is good, she comes back. If it isn't, she doesn't. I am not going to let that be a variable.

Before your first Tuesday

What your first morning looks like.

1
Set your alarm for 5:30 AM.You need 30 minutes from bed to studio. No breakfast required — your body will thank you for moving before you eat.
2
Arrive at 856F South Street at 5:55 AM.The studio is lit and open. You have five minutes before we start — enough time to breathe and let the drive settle.
3
You meet 7 other women doing exactly what you're doing. They are nurses, teachers, professionals, mothers. They got up at 5:30 too. The room already has something to it at 6am that evening classes do not.
4
Crystal opens the class by slowing everything down. You spend the first 10 minutes arriving — not rushing into the work. This is intentional. You cannot do good work on a nervous system that hasn't landed yet.
5
You spend 30 minutes on the aerial hoop.Crystal teaches to where you are. You will do something in that 30 minutes that surprises you. That is not an accident — it is the design.
6
You walk out at 6:45 AM.The day hasn't started. Your inbox hasn't opened. And you already did the thing that most people keep saying they'll do someday.

What to bring

  • Comfortable workout clothes — shorts or leggings, both work
  • Grip socks or plan to go bare feet — no shoes on the mat or apparatus
  • Water bottle — hydrate the night before, not just the morning of
  • No lotion on your skin before class — affects grip on the hoop

No equipment needed. No experience needed. No performance required. Just show up.

Common questions

What women ask
before they book.

I have never done anything like this. Is 6am really okay for a first-timer?

Yes. The 6am format is actually ideal for first-timers — the room is small, quiet, and focused. There is no audience. Crystal has more time for individual attention in a 45-minute class with 8 women than in any larger evening class.

What if I'm not a morning person?

The women who say this are usually the ones who need it most. You do not need to be a morning person. You need one reason to get up. This is the reason.

Is Aerial Hoop hard on the body first thing in the morning?

Crystal builds in a full warm-up before the hoop. Cold muscles do not go on apparatus — that is a fundamental of how she teaches. You will be ready before the work begins.

Can I buy just one class to try it first?

Yes. $35 for a single session. Go to mytaboofitness.com/schedule and click on Morning Flight with Crystal on Tuesday at 6:00 AM. Most women who try one buy the series.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel at least 4 hours before class so your spot can go to another woman. Text (601) 607-9961 or email mytaboofitness@gmail.com. We pick up.

Will this always be 6am?

This class is built for the 6am woman and it stays at 6am. There are evening options for women who cannot make the morning — but this one is specifically for the woman who knows she has to claim the hour before the day takes it.

Is there parking?

Yes — street parking is available on South Street at 6:00 AM with no competition. 856F South Street, Jackson, MS 39201.
